Job Title: Union Carpenter 

Location: Missoula, MT 

Compensation: Hourly Pay + Fringe  Public Works/ Prevailing Wage Projects

Prospect Construction, Inc began as a General Contractor, specializing in the water and wastewater treatment industries. Prospect Construction’s success in the technical, complicated nature of water and wastewater treatment plant construction has allowed seamless crossover to other fields of construction, including cogeneration, biogas treatment, fish facilities, utilities, bridges and building projects.


Prospect Construction, Inc. is looking to hire Carpenters for jobs out of our Montana office.

This is project is signatory to the Carpenters Union if not a member of you must be willing to join.

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to: 

  • Proficient/ familiar in Structural Concrete, Water Tanks, Pump systems, Mechanical Piping

  • Experience with finishing concrete

  • Experience with Symons forms

  • Experience in setting forms, setting up batter boards, preparing materials for forming/placing concrete

  • Experience in Heavy Civil Carpentry/Concrete Forming on projects such as bridges, wastewater treatment plants, concrete storage tanks, industrial Buildings, and other heavy civil concrete structures.

  • Experience with stacking, passing and grinding concrete

  • Properly follow all company policies and procedures in accordance with the OSHA and MSHA regulations for safe working practices and environments.

  • Other duties as required.


  • Current member of the Northwest Carpenters Union or willing to sign up.
