Enumclaw Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements
Built a 6 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work performed generally consists of wastewater treatment plant upgrade and expansion which includes the following work: Modifications, remodel and additions to the existing Enumclaw Wastewater Treatment Plant structures, buildings, basins and processes, including new roofing over all buildings, demolition of existing headworks, blower room, digester boiler room, gas compressor room, and sludge pumping, and secondary treatment processes and construction of new personnel areas, including expansion of the existing laboratory, electrical service, standby generation, motor control centers, SCADA system, conversion of anaerobic digesters and associated equipment and piping into aerobic sludge holding basins. Construction of a new influent sewer, influent pumping station, headworks, and nutrient removal activated sludge facilities, including anaerobic and anoxic basins, flow pumping facilities, recycle mixed liquor pumping, diversion of activated sludge effluent to existing clarifiers for additional removal of nutrients by chemical addition, construction of a parallel outfall and utility water system. Also included is the addition of belt filter press in existing RBC building for dewatering sludge for truck haul to stabilization process.
